As the scar heals and responds to treatment, it goes through different stages. Sometimes the area needs time to fully settle before additional work can be performed. Depending on the scar, healing response, and treatment plan, that rest period may be several weeks to a few months before continuing with the next session.

This is a 3-day hands-on intensive where you work on real cases the entire time. Class size is capped at two students, so you are never watching from the back of the room. You are hands-on the whole way through.

Breast lift scar camouflage and areola restoration in St. Petersburg, Florida, and this one came together so well.

On this set we added a little more shading to soften the lift scars so they blend into the surrounding skin. We also reshaped the areolas to a smaller, more natural size. I recreated the areola and worked a lighter tone into the background so it reads like real skin instead of a hard edge. Soft, natural, and beautifully healed. AREOLA part you cannot see because I cannot post here, but I am going to do a separate post because I was able to make them much smaller than they appear and it turned out really good. So I will do a separate post with a link so you can see them.

Scar camouflage healing tip ✨

If your scar camouflage pigment looks darker than expected during the first 1–2 weeks, don’t panic.

As the skin heals, pigment can temporarily appear darker or more noticeable than the final healed result. This is a normal part of the healing process for many clients.

Over the following weeks, the color typically softens, settles, and blends more naturally with the surrounding skin. Every person heals differently, so the amount of color change can vary from person to person.

The most important thing is to allow the area to fully heal before evaluating the final color or deciding whether any adjustments are needed.

This client previously underwent a stretch mark revision procedure that left visible markings, pigment changes, and texture irregularities throughout the area.

The before photo shows the original condition. The after photo reflects the progress achieved through a series of scar camouflage and skin restoration treatments.

While we are still continuing to improve the texture and further refine the color and appearance of the remaining scar, we have come a long way. Cases like this require patience, multiple sessions, and a customized approach. There is rarely a one-session solution when dealing with surgical scars, stretch mark revision scars, and significant skin changes.
